Chairman's Message

IBOAI has represented the interests of all IBOs in North America. This year will be no different, and it is with great hope and encouragement that we look forward to 2011.

If I could adopt a theme for the year it would be “Monumental Growth Together.” While the Board has many specific goals to accomplish this year, it is my sincere and earnest desire to lead with one underlying principle: Unity. We celebrate and respect the differences in color, race, age, religion, and cultures and in the operational processes of different Lines of Sponsorship and Affiliation that make up the fabric of all IBOs, but we come together in a spirit of accord and compliance to grow Amway in North America to monumental heights, believing in and working to double annual North America sponsoring and sales volume!

The IBOAI represents many years of experience and solution-orientated expertise. Each Director is a hard working, active and qualified Diamond. Your Board Officers and every Board Member are dedicated to assisting all IBOs, in every reasonable way, to make their experiences rewarding and fulfilling as they strive to reach their goals for the future. I will lean on the experience and intellect of past Chairman Steve Woods as well as the Executive Committee that comprises the best leadership the industry has ever produced. Over the last several years, your Board has made great progress in putting you in a position to succeed. We have maneuvered through various issues, and today our business is strong and growing. Your Board has helped steer through the transformation of the past and assisted in keeping our business relevant in the ever-changing technology age. We hold many Board meetings throughout the year, countless conference calls and daily correspondence to ensure the line of communication stays open. In partnership with Amway Corporate leaders, Executive Vice President Jim Payne, Vice President and Managing Director Steve Lieberman, Vice President of Sales Sandy Spielmaker, and their entire team, the IBOAI Board will work closely with the Marketing Advisory Committee in making recommendations to the Corporation on how we best see our business moving forward.

In these uncertain times, one thing is certain, and that is our commitment to continue working on your behalf to ensure that this remains the premier choice of a business opportunity for anyone with a dream, a willingness to work, and a desire to achieve.
