Jody Victor of the Independent Business Owners
Association International (IBOAI or IBOA
International) announced the trade association’s
enthusiastic support for
Amway Global’s sponsorship of
the
U.S. Dream Academy. “Our members, Independent
Business Owners (IBOs) powered by
Amway Global, have
supported the U.S. Dream Academy since its inception
in 1998,” says
Jody Victor.
Established by renowned gospel singer Rev. Wintley
Phipps in 1998, the U.S. Dream Academy empowers
at-risk youth by providing them with academic,
social, and values enrichment through supportive
mentoring programs.
“Through their mentoring programs,” says Jody
Victor, “the U.S. Dream Academy provides thousands
of children the resources and encouragement they
need to succeed.”

Amway Global IBOs have
supported the U.S. Dream Academy financially and
through donation of products and time.
“Our members have a tradition of helping others
achieve their dreams through a business of their
own,” explains Jody Victor. “So, working with the
U.S. Dream Academy is a natural extension of our
desire to help people live better lives.”
The U.S. Dream Academy places a special emphasis on
children with an incarcerated parent. “Studies have
shown that these kids are six times more likely to
end up in prison,” says Victor. The Academy works to
break that cycle and provides programs for children
falling behind in school.
