IBOs in Action

The race was the 73rd All-American Soap Box Derby, held July 24 in Akron, Ohio. The Dutts and several downline IBOs sponsored the 2008 World Stock Champion, Johanna Barnowski. While the races were going on live, a film crew directed by Hollywood actor Corbin Bernsen was filming for a story built around the Soap Box Derby.

“The event was great fun as always,” says Jere. “Johanna was eliminated in the early rounds this year; however, her family has been selected to participate in continued filming of a movie, ‘25 Hill.’” It’s about a previous Derby winner who befriends a young boy determined to enter the car his father (who was sent to military duty and died in Afghanistan) bought him.

Says Jere, “A lot of filming took place during the races. Our Perfect Water banners and the people from the team dressed in bright orange Perfect shirts were right in front of the action! So be looking for us in a movie theater near you soon.”

The Dutt group had provided Perfect Empowered Water during the Derby. “There was a ton of interest about Perfect Water,” says Jere. “Many contacts were made, and the team really enjoyed rallying around a great product, a great driver, and a great ALL-American tradition.”
