shaping the Association that continues to serve
Independent Business Owners so well today.
Even though he died more than 30 years ago, the business Fred
built continues to grow today. In fact, it is one of the largest and most
successful businesses, with Independent Business Owners in nearly 80 countries and
territories worldwide.
Fred accomplished this by structuring his business to involve his
entire family. Bernice seamlessly took full control after his death and
sustained the momentum, reaching the Triple Diamond level in 1974. A year
later, she achieved Crown level.
Bernice also restructured the business, renaming their independent
business The Fred L. Hansen Corporation, and including their three daughters. Now
a third generation has become involved in the business. More successful
than ever, The Fred L. Hansen Corporation is a thriving legacy to someone
who has helped thousands of people find financial security.
Fred served as Board President in 1963-64.
