Immeasurable Faith in the IBO Philosophy

"Our first product was faith," Joe Victor liked to say, referring to the fact that he and others formed the American Way Association (AWA) months before t he Corporation existed or offered tangible products.

Joe had immeasurable faith in the beginning philosophy, which he demonstrated by throwing himself wholeheartedly into his business, the Association and the company. He worked directly with the other AWA founding members to draft the original Sales and Marketing Plan. Then he

showed the potential it offers everyone by building one of the largest and most successful independent businesses in the world.

Joe served tirelessly on the Board of Directors throughout the Association's early years, setting an impeccable standard for those who followed. His hard work and integrity helped build the close working relationship with The Corporation that still exists today.

A World War II veteran, Joe was deeply patriotic and highly valued the opportunity to run his own business. His children and grandchildren followed in his footsteps, building successful businesses of their own.

Joe Victor died in 1998 at the age of 79. His son, Jody, has followed in the tradition of serving on the IBOA International Board.
