Amway Global Provides Donation, Giving Opportunity to Aid Hurricane Ike Relief Efforts

Amway Global is helping those dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Ike by partnering with the American Red Cross, World Vision, and Save the Children to support the relief efforts they have underway.

Here’s how Amway Global is helping:

• The company is making an immediate $100,000 cash donation to the American Red Cross, which provides shelter, food, and other assistance to disaster victims, and Save the Children, which is providing donations to meet the needs of children affected by the storm.

• They are donating product to World Vision, which will coordinate and distribute our donation according to need.

• They also are matching IBO and Amway Global customer donations to the American Red Cross and Save the Children – up to $100,000 – to help with the recovery and rebuilding of devastated communities.

As in similar times of need, Amway Global has established special order numbers (101900/$10) and (101901/$25) for IBOs and their customers to donate to Hurricane Ike relief efforts through the American Red Cross at Quixtar.com. 

IBOs also have the option to donate to Save the Children.

IBO and customer donations will be matched – up to $100,000 – by the company.
