It’s pretty easy to figure out how to be in good standing:
You follow the Rules, you support your upline and downline,
you run an ethical business, and you obey the law. Even
when activity has nothing to do with
Amway,
when you’re identified with Amway, people will draw their
own conclusions and the business receives a black eye.
Some might point out that being in good standing really
only affects certain aspects of your business, like the
ability to participate in the Amway Growth Incentives
Program. However, more practically, the way you conduct
yourself can easily affect whether others do business with
you or other IBOs. That can affect people you don’t even
personally know.
We believe that most IBOs are in good standing. Once in a
while, someone will step out of line and that one person
spoils it for the rest of us. Usually, a gentle reminder
will bring them back in line. One value of a rule like 2.8
is that it gives you a way to bring up the issue.
