can do this business. All they need is the
opportunity to see this business plan. The next step is to
speak to people you know and to be comfortable introducing
yourself to strangers who may come from different walks of
life than you. In fact, it’s an IBO Best Practice to treat
everyone equally in sponsoring.
Rule 3.1 of the Rules of Conduct says: “No IBO shall present
the business as anything other than an opportunity available
to anyone regardless of race, gender, nationality, or
religious or political beliefs to any person.”
So there are no business roadblocks. There are no social
roadblocks, either. If you look at back issues of the Amway
Global recognition magazines over the past 50 years, you
will find people from all backgrounds and cultures involved.
You hear about banks that are “equal opportunity lenders”
and companies that are “equal opportunity employers.” This
is an equal opportunity business. It’s really up to you to
open your door and your heart to everyone who wants in.
Note: One of the criteria for achieving Amway Global
Accreditation is applying Best Practices. In this series,
IBOAI explores the Amway Global Best Practices and how to
apply them to your IBO business.
