Achievers

Guided by the principle of people helping people to achieve success and better lives, the IBOAI® consistently sets a stellar example of our Business values in action. Every day, the IBOAI Board works tirelessly on behalf of all IBOs, promoting their best interests and protecting the integrity of the Business. At Achievers, the biggest annual recognition event, the IBOAI Board members and staff welcome the opportunity to meet and mingle with as many IBOs as possible throughout the week. From greeting IBOs at arrival with a signature journal and pen to interacting at the Expo in a fun, informative trivia game and a generous "tube of surprises", the IBOAI focuses on making each Achiever feel valued, respected, and appreciated for their hard work and commitment.

Emerald Growth Forum

Achievers is always filled with fun and camaraderie, yet it it also an opportunity to learn and grow as a leader. The Emerald Growth Forum, held this year on Thursday prior to the traditional Business Meeting, emphasized building a strong, stable business long term. Led by an impressive panel boasting 120 years of combined Amway™ experience, three IBOAI Board members - Raul Gonzalez, Kathy Victor and Leslie Wolgamott - joined new EDC, Trevor Baker and hosts, Rajneesh Chopra (ANA Sales Director) and Jim Ayres (ANA Managing Director) on stage.

A presentation of the new IBO training program developed by the Corporation in partnership with the IBOAI was one of the highlights of the Emerald Growth Forum. This excellent training is now available online at amway.com/education. The short, 3-5 minute videos cover all aspects of the business and are designed specifically to help IBOs succeed.

Another highlight of the Emerald Forum was the special appearance of Steve VanAndel, Amway Chairman, and son of Amway founder, Jay VanAndel.  Steve's congratulatory message to the IBO Leaders was upbeat yet realistic. He reflected on his father's ups and downs in the Business and the importance of IBO Leaders to remain steadfast and committed to drive the Business forward.

Business Meeting

While IBOs poured into the Palazzo Ballroom of the Venetian, they were delighted by the pre-meeting entertainment of Who's Line Is It Anyway? series cast members, Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood. To add to the frivolity and energy in the room, several IBOs participated in the fun, including Kristen Dussault, Steve Victor, Kelli Victor, and Joe Victor. Funnier yet? The rap session featuring David Dussault, Joe Markiewicz, and Jody Victor. Lots of laughter, cheers,  and applause!

On a more serious note, Jim Ayres and Rajneesh Chopra inspired the crowd with a discussion of fundamental business building principles. Everyone who attended the Business Meeting, left feeling motivated, hopeful and excited for the future. It's a great time to be in this Business!
