Jody Victor

September 16, 1947 - December 17, 2025

Jody Victor, and his wife,Kathy, led their own business while wholeheartedly supporting the IBOAI, the association that ensures IBOs are heard by the Corporation. Jody was devoted to helping others build a Business they could pass on to their children and children’s children.

As busy as he was with his many roles in the Business and the IBOAI, he enjoyed boating and spending time with his family. The Victors lived in North Canton, Ohio, so it was no surprise that Jody was an avid fan of Ohio State Football. He was also involved in the U.S. Dream Academy and American Heart Association, both well-recognized charitable organizations across the United States.

With over 50 years as an IBO, Jody remarked, “It was rewarding to touch so many people and help them live better lives. I offer this advice to those just starting in this amazing Business: Follow the example of your upline as you build and grow, but most importantly, believe in yourself and your unique talents.”

Kathy continues to lead their business and is the CEO of the IBOAI, carrying on their legacy of leadership and dedication.

Jody Victor: In Honor of 40 Years of Dedication to the IBOAI®

When you think of Jody Victor, most would agree, to work with him was a learning experience and welcome challenge – and to have him as a friend is a treasured gift. Born into the respected founding family of the Amway business, he learned the Business head and heart from a young age as a Victor. A gifted man, he and his energetic wife, Kathy, emerged as leaders in the Business and have been instrumental in the growth and success of the IBOAI. No one would dispute, when it comes to being “all in,” Jody was a shining light during his 40 years of service on the IBOAI Board.

On October 14, 2025, at the Amway Grand Plaza hotel, as many gathered in Grand Rapids, Michigan for the quarterly IBOAI Board meetings, Jody was honored with the first 40-year pin award, presented by Bill Hawkins. Not only did he receive a 40-year pin, Jody also was awarded a stunning engraved award and commemorative book. In his remarks, Bill referred to Jody as a “great coach” and let him know, “We wouldn’t be the people we are today without your guidance. We promise to keep the history of this Business alive!”

Rick Abraham, longtime IBOAI Legal Counsel and close friend of the Victors, shared how Jody exemplified courage and temerity. Joe Markiewicz remarked, “When you look back on your life and wonder if you made a difference, Jody, I assure you, you have! No one knows this Business like you do!” Howie Danzik pointed out, “Some people make your day while others change your life. Knowing and working with Jody has been life changing.” Bob Andrews described Jody’s leadership as a balance of passion and compassion. He expressed gratitude for the “standards Jody has set and integrity he has shown.” Vinny Pappladardo, current IBOAI Board Chairman, praised the tremendous impact Jody has had on him, the IBOAI, and the Field. In honor of Jody’s tremendous service and dedication, Bill Hawkins announced the largest IBOAI boardroom is now officially named the Jody Victor Boardroom.

The strong vision, widespread influence, and steadfast service of Jody’s leadership touched many, including Amway leadership, past and present. Jim Payne, John Parker, Ruben Familia, Andrew Schmidt, Scott Scheidmantel, and several others attended this tribute.

Without a doubt, Jody Victor has been an incredible role model of leadership for the IBOAI, Amway, and the Field. In closing, Kathy Victor expressed, “I am everything I am today because of Jody. Together we created a wonderful life – and we will continue to enjoy life together. Jody has done all he can to preserve the IBOAI and Amway. We are all blessed to know him.”

Everyone will cherish this special night when Jody stepped aside to spend time with family, inspiring others, including his children and grandchildren, to follow in his footsteps. The hundreds of times he stepped up for the Amway business, the IBOAI, the Field, and his family and friends will live on in the thousands of lives he positively impacted during his 40 years of service. What a tremendous legacy!
